Female Football Festival – June 16th 2019

Join us on JUNE 16TH for a fantastic festival of female football!

It’s back-to-back action throughout the day, as our girls and women’s teams take on their local rivals at Renown Park.

The day kicks off at 9am with our Girls Under 12 A’s, and culminates in a Premier Women’s League fixture that starts at 3pm.

Come down and lend your support. As always your kids get FREE access to wide open spaces to run around and play, whilst you watch great football with great people. 

The canteen will be open from midday serving BBQ, drinks, coffee and snacks.

  • 10.05am – 16GB
  • 11.30am – 16GA
  • 1pm – 21G
  • 3pm – Premier Women’s League

New Building – Use and Etiquette

Attention Managers and Coaches

As you’ll have seen, we’ve been making a transition to our new building over recent weeks. The process is almost complete, aside from some lock changes (waiting on council, details to follow) and our organization of training gear to their final positions in new racks. 

We need your help in three key areas:
1) Training Gear and Other Equipment: Let’s get this right. Space is limited and we’ll need your help to ensure items are returned to clearly labelled areas so that everybody can find items easily when arriving for training. This will be finalised shortly and signace placed in the room. 
2) Changing Room Use: If your team makes use of the new changing rooms, it is your team’s responsibility to ensure that the home AND away rooms are clean of rubbish and other items, immediately following EVERY TIME they are used. Let’s make sure that the team following you arrives to a clean environment. 
3) Matchday Equipment – Caged Area: This is the equipment located near the tank. This equipment is only to be used for match day – not for training. Items such as witches hats, poles, balls etc are located in the gear room

Committee members will monitor usage of these areas until everything is functioning smoothly – please ensure your players take pride in the club and the facilities that we share.

Managers meeting and gear pickup

Managers meetings have been scheduled for the 11th and 13th of March at Renown Park.  A representative from each team must attend.

At the meeting each team will be given their gear (ie shorts, socks, playing shirt, bag and training shirt for new players)

We will also being giving info regarding ref fees team sheets etc.

Under 6, 7 and 8 teams @ 7pm on Monday 11th March
Under 9, 10 and 11 teams @ 8pm on Monday 11th March
Under 12 to 16 teams @ 7pm on Wednesday 13th March

Welcome to Coaching Session – March 15 @ 7pm

Matt Jones, our club coach, will be giving coaches and anyone else interested some tips for coaching U6 to U8 teams.

Learn how to keep the kids engaged in their training ready for game time.

Matt will share skills, drills and activities that you can use when coaching your team.

Wear your runners and get involved.

The session will be held from 7pm till 8pm on Friday March 15th at Renown Park.
